Job Description
Reports to: Head of Asset Protection
Asset Protection Director, Japan & Korea will be responsible for the protection of company assets, both tangible and intangible. This person will effectively communicate, train, implement, and monitor all aspects of Asset Protection programs in the assigned area. This person will also provide leadership and direction to all levels of company employees regarding Asset Protection and Safety concerns and have one direct report.
Key Responsibilities
•Working in close collaboration with Regional and Country Management, identify & manage the execution of the retail and supply chain strategies to support overall shrink reduction;
•Communicate, implement and monitor the Shrink Reduction Program in stores across the region in accordance with corporate direction;
•Prioritize strategic AP planning, develop and implement comprehensive asset prevention strategies and risk management plans to protect company assets, including stores, corporate office, distribution centers and people;
•Conduct all aspects of internal and external investigations including development, resolution and prosecution of cases in accordance with the Investigations Department;
•Develop and maintain effective business partnerships between Asset Protection and Store Management, Operations, Human Resources, Legal and all other Field Business Partners;
•Train and monitor Operational Compliance through execution of the Audit Program, and effective communication / follow up with all Field Business Partners;
•Lead local AP manager to develop, implement and formulate asset protection strategies with local knowledge to reduce inventory shrinkage and fraudulent activities, working closely with store management team and external stakeholders;
•Lead Local AP manager on collaborating with field teams to combat retail crime effectively, ensuring a safe shopping environment for customers and employees;
•Lead local AP managers on reporting system, work with Head of AP to facilitate enhancement of data analytics to identify fraudulent trends;
•Introduce, train and monitor correct application and usage of all Asset Protection technology, initiatives, and programs in the region;
•Create development plans for continuous growth for regional AP managers and associates, monitor development and performance of AP personnel and support Head of AP to build a strong team;
•Provide administrative support to Senior leaders of Asset Protection; i.e. oversee asset protection contracts, liaise with vendors, compile departmental reports and presentations and organize meetings as required;
